Rockstar Beer Productions is at it again! After orchestrating the highly successful Newport Beach Beer Festival in April, they put on the ULTIMATE summer celebration of the SoCal craft brewing industry: the Huntington Beach Beer Festival. Held at the Meadowlark Golf Club on August 22nd, the beer fest gave Orange County socialites and beer fanatics the chance to enjoy unlimited samplings from renowned craft brewery start-ups while taking in electrifying sets from Alien Ant Farm, the Red Not Chili Peppers, and Eyes Set To Kill.
The Huntington Beach Beer Festival was the perfect space for SoCal folk to really immerse in the rich brewing talent and culture right in their own backyard. Thousands of beer lovers thronged the many tents to sample all of their craft offerings, play games for prizes, and select their top brews. Whether you enjoy sipping on IPA’s with a bite, amber ales, pilsners, or stouts, there were brews for every beer connoisseur’s liking. Some of the most popular tents of the evening were for local Huntington Beach favorite Four Sons Brewery, STONE Brewing Company, King Harbor Brewing Company (which gave guests the chance to win bottles of IPA by tossing a ping pong ball in a cup!), and Wolf Creek Brewery in Valencia.
In addition to the 75+ delectable craft beers available, the Huntington Beach Beer Festival also boasted incredible musical acts. The Red Not Chili Peppers wowed the crowd with their impressive vocals, and all of the guests loved dancing around and singing along to Alien Ant Farm’s outstanding performance of ‘Smooth Criminal.’ It was an incredible sight. After indulging in sample cup after sample cup of beer, the attendees all hungrily swarmed the food trucks and noshed on munchies like gourmet burritos and tacos.
Huntington Beach Beer Festival was definitely one for the books. If you are an entrepreneurial brewery start-up hoping to spread awareness of your craft, presenting at the Huntington Beach Beer Festival proved to be a fantastic way to gain recognition in the brewing scene, mingle with other breweries, and amass new customers and loyal followers. On the other hand, if you simply want to learn more about craft brewing as a hobby or you are just a lover of unique beer (and who isn’t?!), then definitely make sure to attend Huntington Beach Beer Festival next year.
